Ping, Traceroute, SSH, and Telnet

To troubleshoot a switch in the fabric, use ping, traceroute, SSH, and Telnet:

• Ping

• Traceroute

• SSH

• Telnet

NOTE: SSH or Telnet will work depending upon what you have configured in the switch protocols.

Ping

To ping a switch in a fabric:

1. Navigate to the Network >

Fabric Name

Switch Name

> Troubleshoot screen.

2. Click the Ping button to display the ping results.

Traceroute

To traceroute a switch in the fabric:

1. Navigate to the Network >

Fabric Name

Switch Name

> Troubleshoot screen. .

2. Click the Traceroute button to display the traceroute results.

SSH

To issue an SSH command on a switch:
