Exporting the Domain Controller Root CA Certificate to the iDRAC6
NOTE: If your system is running Windows 2000 or if you are using a standalone CA,
the following steps may vary.

Locate the domain controller that is running the Microsoft Enterprise
CA service.

mmc
and click
OK
.

(MMC) window, click

and select
Add/Remove Snap-in
.

Standalone Snap-In
window, select
Certificates
and click
Add
.

Computer
account
and click
Next

Local Computer
and click
Finish

window, expand the
Certificates
folder, expand the
Personal
folder, and click the
Certificates
folder.

Locate and right-click the root CA certificate, select
All Tasks
,
and click
Export....

In the
Certificate Export Wizard

Next
, and select
No do not export
the private key
.

Next
and select
Base-64 encoded X.509 (.cer)
as the format.

Click
Next
and save the certificate to a directory on your system.

Upload the certificate you saved in step 14 to the iDRAC.
To upload the certificate using RACADM, see "Configuring Microsoft
Active Directory With Extended Schema Using the iDRAC6 Web-Based
Interface" on page 160 or "Configuring Microsoft Active Directory With
Standard Schema Using RACADM" on page 171.
