You will know that the process is complete when this desktop icon displays:

Database Selection

vReplicator requires an SQL database to record job information.

Install on new instance

of SQL Express 2005

(radio button)

This method is preferred. If you select this option, a new

instance of SQL Express 2005 will be installed on the

vReplicator machine and all necessary product database

configurations will be completed.

Note: This method is not recommended if you plan to install

vReplicator on the same machine where VC is installed.

Install on an existing

SQL Server

2000/2005

(radio button)

Select this option only if you have access to a SQL Server and

have the necessary privileges to create a database on that

server.

Install manually

(not recommended)

(radio button)

This method allows you to create the databases manually, if

necessary. During the configuration process, sufficient

guidance is provided.
