Installing the eDP cable

1. Fix the eDP cable in its place on the display assembly.

2. Connect the eDP cable to its connector.

3. Install the:

a. display panel

b. display bezel

c. display assembly

d. display-hinge brackets

e. palmrest

f. keyboard

g. keyboard trim

h. hard-drive assembly

i. memory

j. battery

k. base cover

4. Follow the procedures in After Working Inside Your Computer.

Removing the System Fan

1. Follow the procedures in Before Working Inside Your Computer.

2. Remove the:

a. base cover

b. battery

c. keyboard trim

d. keyboard

e. palmrest

3. Disconnect the system-fan cable from its connector on the system board.
