Prerequisites

1 Remove the base cover.

2 Remove the battery.

3 Follow the procedure from step 1 to step 3 in “Removing the hard drive”.

Procedure

1 Peel off the tapes that secure the power and volume-buttons board cable

to the computer base.

2 Disconnect the power and volume-buttons board cable from the I/O

board.
