Replacing the Keyboard

Procedure

1 Align the screw holes on the keyboard with the screw holes on the palm-rest

assembly.

2 Replace the screws that secure the keyboard to the palm-rest assembly.

3 Adhere the Mylar to the screws on the keyboard.

4 Adhere the Mylar the keyboard.

Postrequisites.

1 Replace the system board. See "Replacing the System Board" on page 48.

2 Replace the hard drive. See "Replacing the Hard Drive" on page 23.

3 Replace the battery. See "Replacing the Battery" on page 17.

4 Replace the base-cover assembly. See "Replacing the Base-Cover Assembly" on
