The Dell Axim X51 features a bright 3.5" QVGA display with a 320x240 resolution, and includes the power and storage capacity to handle work and

multimedia applications.

Both handheld models have a sleek and stylish design with CF and SDIO expansion slots for additional memory, scanners, GPS systems, network cards and modems.

The Axim X51 and X51v are powered by Intel PXA270 processors, providing technology to help deliver great multimedia performance along with

Microsoft

Windows Mobile™ 5.0 software for Pocket PCs running familiar applications in the new Office Mobile suite including Word Mobile,

Excel Mobile and the latest PowerPoint Mobile, allowing you to stay productive while you are away from your home or office.

The new OS also features persistent memory storage technology which helps to prevent data loss even when your battery runs out of charge. The 1100mAh

battery delivers hours of productivity and entertainment and an optional 2200mAh battery offers extended run time in between charges. The USB cradle

with a battery-charging slot designed to accommodate either battery and allows you to keep a spare battery charged and ready to swap as needed.

The X51 and X51v include a headset connection that supports voice over Internet protocol (VoIP) and voice-recognition applications.

Additionally, the X51v

offers an optional presentation bundle that road warriors can use to take advantage of the dual display capability to connect to a projector or VGA

display and easily deliver presentations. Both can help keep the mobile road warrior productive in the palm of his or her hand.

Connected – connect yourself to what matters, when it matters

The X51 and X51v feature integrated Bluetooth

connectivity that provides cable-free links between your Axim and Bluetooth-enabled devices such as PCs,

mobile phones and other devices. It provides a great means to wirelessly access the Internet or corporate server when used along with a Bluetooth-enabled

mobile phone.

You can also share files, exchange business cards or calendar appointments with other Bluetooth-enabled PCs or PDAs. Connect to a Bluetooth-

enabled keyboard and type notes in a flash or connect to a Bluetooth-enabled GPS receiver and never get lost again.

Standard on the X51v and optional on the X51, integrated Wi-Fi

(802.11b) wireless technology helps keep you connected and productive on the move.

Microsoft Windows Mobile 5.0 for Pocket PC’s Zero Configuration Wi-Fi makes it easy for you to find and connect to any 802.11b wireless local area

network. When your Wi-Fi-enabled Axim encounters a hotspot – whether at home, work or a coffee shop, you’ll be asked if you want to connect. Now you

can easily access the Internet on the fly.

A touch of the wireless on/off switch disables the wireless functionality to optimise your battery life when not using

wireless functionality.

Entertained – create a balance between work and play

The X51 and X51v handhelds make it easy to carry your favourite music, movies and TV shows wherever you go. Both systems include Windows Mobile 5.0

software for Pocket PC with Windows Media

Player 10 Mobile. This latest version of Media Player makes it simple to synchronise your data from your

desktop PC to your PDA, download TV and movies, and even supports access to online stores and subscription services such as Smartvideo.com, Napster, MSN

Music and MLB.com.
